This workshop aims to be a meeting point for lovers of poetry and poetry writing. It will explore the best strategies to improve critical reading and poetry writing skills. The first part of each session will teach theory supported by practical exercises, and in the second part poems will be read out and discussed among the participants. Expressive reading will also be studied to prepare participants for recitals of their work. The objective is to create a space where those who want to can brush up their knowledge of Spanish and Latin American poetry, learn about the most representative poets from past and present, and fine-tune their personal poetic output. In addition, the workshop aims to be a place where poetry lovers can share their experiences and their literary curiosity, and meet poets who give master classes and recitals of their poems in our workshop every year.

Teachers: Pascual Ibáñez and Cristian Font (Producciones La hormiga) The Audiovisual workshop aims to prepare anyone interested (no previous knowledge is required) for audiovisual production in the current context, through the use of basic digital video equipment. The course also aims to introduce students to the techniques and knowledge necessary to record and edit audiovisuals.
Teachers: Alberto Torres Blandina and Kike Parra Veinat The course's main idea is to write a lot and explore different techniques to find one's own voice, as well as to turn the student into a competent reader, the first step to be a good writer. The classes will have a theoretical part and a practical part where they will work on what they have learned, as well as a time dedicated to the correction of the students' texts. We will read short stories or fragments of established authors and we will talk about the technical part of the texts and sometimes work on these models.
Teacher: Victoria Algarra Carrasco This workshop is aimed at participants who want to explore theatre and trains them in performance skills based on improvisation, monologues and theatrical scenes. The workshop puts into practice well-known theatrical acting methods such as those of Sanford Meisner, Michael Chekov, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Viola Spolin and Ruth Zaporah, which propose working with the body and the voice, all based on teamwork. The Workshop's goals are, on the one hand, to promote integral development, personal growth and the ability to interact with others, stimulate individual and group creativity and foster critical thinking and, on the other hand, to facilitate participation, encourage spontaneity and promote participants' development of their artistic capacity and dramatic expression.
